Community: Here you may have already seen some of the brilliant members of our community. You are welcome to join the GEN Alumni Facebook, Whatsapp and LinkedIn groups.
GEN Events: As a member, you are welcome to join our GEN offerings as a participant and you may be invited as a speaker or facilitator. We collaborate with individuals from our network on a variety of events, both online and in-person. Recent highlights include curated online discussions at In Conversation events, podcast episodes, member support Zoom calls and training clinics on varied topics. More In Conversation and GEN events are in the works, so stay tuned for updates.
Grants: Member Led Projects Funded by GDF. In 2025, 10 GEN members are working to implement projects aimed at improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of their respective regions. These projects are supported through Seed Projects and our Conservation Justice Flow Funds, which provide funding along with tailored mentoring, communications support and advice specific to each project’s needs.
Mentoring: As a member, you have access to coaching, support and peer mentoring, when we have these programmes running and based on the capacity of our team. We also provide references, assistance with fundraising and grant applications, and support for members’ academic pursuits.
