Antonia Barreau Daly

Antonia Barreau Daly, a mother of two boys, is an emerging ethnobiologist and ethnobotanist. She is deeply interested in the study of human-plant relations in forest ecosystems and their links with food sovereignty. She holds a Master of Science in Forestry and Society (2014) from the University of British Columbia (Canada) and a Professional Degree in Forest Engineering (2009) from Pontificia Universidad Católica in Chile. Antonia, a Darrell Posey Fellow of the International Society of Ethnobiology, is also a co-founder of the Chilean Society of Socioecology and Ethnoecology (SOSOET). She recently moved back to Chile where she plans to continue contributing to biocultural diversity conservation.
