Communications and Events Officer
Youssef Rochdane is a translator, content writer and researcher currently working as a Communications and Events Officer with the Global Diversity Foundation.
With a background in not-for-profit event organisation and multilingual communication, Youssef has collaborated with several NGOs and social sector organisations. His interactions with people from diverse cultures ignited his passion for languages and communication, enabling him to recognise nuances between languages. This skill has improved his ability to adapt cultural differences for recipients and create suitable content for specific audiences.
Youssef holds a Master’s in Arabic-English-French Translation from the King Fahd School of Translation and a Bachelor’s in English Studies and Linguistics from Cadi Ayyad University. Currently pursuing a PhD in Cultural and Heritage-related Translation, Youssef is dedicated to advancing his expertise in cultural preservation through writing.
As an Arabic speaker fluent in English and French, he eagerly brings his passion for languages, cultures, and communication to his work with GDF.
