Yvonne Linda Muyia

Yvonne Muyia is a passionate marine conservation leader from Kenya’s Southern Coastline with over six years of experience working with fishing communities to conserve their marine spaces.

Currently, I am the Program Coordinator at REEFolution Trust, a Kenyan non-profit based in Shimoni, Kenya. We are a community-centred coral restoration project that is partnering with BMUs to restore degraded reefs.

I am deeply committed to inclusive conservation, building and mentoring a team of young marine stewards and ensuring that grassroots communities economically benefit from ecological conservation initiatives.
