Tresia Reyni Palohoen

Tresia Reyni Palohoen is a dedicated conservationist who has significantly contributed to wildlife preservation and community engagement. Serving as the Projects Coordinator for Selamatkan Yaki, she has shown unwavering commitment to conserving the critically endangered Sulawesi crested black macaque, locally known as the “yaki.”

With over a decade of experience, Reyni began her journey with Selamatkan Yaki in 2013 as the Programme Secretary. She steadily climbed the ranks to become the Executive Secretary in 2018 and eventually assumed the pivotal role of Projects Coordinator in 2020. Her rise through the organisation is a testament to her exceptional leadership and dedication.

Presently, Reyni proudly serves as Projects Coordinator, leveraging her extensive knowledge and expertise to oversee and execute impactful conservation projects. She excels in designing and implementing conservation strategies, collaborating with stakeholders, and empowering her team to create meaningful change in conservation.

Throughout her career, Reyni has actively engaged with diverse communities, forging partnerships and tirelessly raising awareness about pressing environmental issues. With a robust background in conservation, adept project management skills, and proven leadership capabilities, she is steadfast in her mission to positively impact our world.
