Rita Roquette

Rita is an herbalist living in the Minho region of northern Portugal. She founded her studies in professional herbalism in the US, deepening the knowledge with dear herbalists and since back in Portugal she has been promoting community activities and compiling existing knowledge of the local flora by walking with the locals. Over the past 12 years she has advocate the wisdom of the wild plants and traditional gardening through varied programs for adults and children that combine herbalism classes, herbs walks, botanical arts, crafts and wild food events.
