Caroline Dama Chirenga Madagow

Caroline Dama is currently the country director of Green World Campaign Kenya, where she has worked since 2013.

Her work sees her engage with schools, youth groups, community groups, especially farmers in coastal, Arid &Semi-Arid lands and peri-urban areas of Mombasa, Kwale and Kilifi, where she works to establish resilient food and water catchment systems, building their capacity through economic empowerment and adaptation of sustainable and regenerative farming practices.

She has designed projects that aim to build the capacity of schools to be action learning centers that communities can access to learn and subsequently replicate projects in their farms and communal lands that are anchored in nature-based solutions embracing and leveraging on place sourced indigenous community solutions.
