Mentoring is a cornerstone of GDF’s work. Over the last ten years, our team has mentored GEN members and partners both formally and informally, guiding them to strengthen their personal leadership and make the most of their projects, research or career.

Aside from the peer mentoring we organise through our GESA Fellowship, in November 2022, we launch the GEN Mentoring Academy (GENMA), a certified programme developed and implemented in collaboration with Mowgli Mentoring and Common Purpose. The aim is to build the mentoring skills of GEN members, providing them with a qualification and enabling them to join GEN’s growing pool of mentors.

GENMA will foster interconnections within our network of 590 individuals, tapping into our collective wisdom and channelling it to address individual and collective challenges. This mentor training is an exclusive opportunity for GEN members.
