Reimagining Planetary Regeneration:

An Intergenerational Community Exchange for South and Southeast Asia

Global Diversity Foundation and Protecterra Ecological Foundation are thrilled to be organising the Reimagining Planetary Regeneration Community Exchange (CE).

This exchange brings together conservationists, activists, artists, researchers, and practitioners working in South and Southeast Asia who share a commitment to fostering earth-centric, community-driven solutions to the environmental and social challenges of our time.

What is the CE?

Over five months of online sessions and a 6-day immersive in-person gathering in Pune, India, participants will explore the deep connections between spirituality, ecology, and activism. By learning from Indigenous wisdom, peer insights, and expert facilitators, we’ll co-create actionable strategies to enhance resilience, equity, and justice within our communities.

While skilled facilitators will lead structured sessions, all participants will be invited  – well in advance – to contribute to the programme, leading sessions and actively contributing to the Exchange. We want this exchange to be a space where everyone not only learns from each other but also actively contributes to the community’s growth.

Purpose

This Exchange is a collaborative and action-oriented programme for individuals committed to earth-centric living, organising, and regenerating. Participants will:

  • Build resilience to climate impacts through approaches that are rooted in equity, justice, and inclusion.
  • Gain practical strategies to tackle local environmental and social challenges.
  • Explore spiritual ecology and its role in crafting holistic, sustainable solutions.
  • Learn from Indigenous practices and foster intergenerational leadership.
  • Co-create a toolkit for Reimagining Planetary Regeneration.
