Hafida Mazoud
Sustainable Livelihoods Programme Coordinator
Hafida Mazoud, a Chevening scholar, joined Global Diversity Foundation in May 2021, after completing a master’s degree in Food Science and Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University. Hafida’s present work with GDF supports rural entrepreneurs and cooperatives increasing their viability and transitioning to more sustainable business models.
Being a native Tachelhit speaker and multilingual, as well as having a background in entrepreneurship and food science, prompted her to work as a freelance consultant with southern food entrepreneurs and as a communication and project coordinator for a Moroccan NGO. Hafida enjoys blogging about science for the general public, and she is excited to apply her passion for reviving Amazigh food practices to her work with GDF.
