Hafida Mazoud

Rural Entrepreneurship Coordinator

Hafida Mazoud, a Chevening scholar, joined Global Diversity Foundation as Rural Entrepreneurship Coordinator in May 2021, after completing a master’s degree in Food Science and Innovation at Manchester Metropolitan University. Hafida’s present work with GDF supports High Atlas cooperatives in transitioning to more culturally and biologically diverse sustainable businesses.

Being a native Tachelhit speaker who also speaks Arabic, English, and French, as well as having a food science background and an entrepreneurship credential from Indiana University, all prompted her consulting work with southern food entrepreneurs, as well as communication and project coordination for a local organization. Hafida enjoys blogging about food science for the general public, and she is excited to bring her passion for food science and justice to her work with GDF.
