Siddhartha Krishna
Siddhartha Krishna is a sociologist. He is currently faculty in Social Sciences at the Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) in Bangalore, India. He is affiliated to ATREE’s Ecosystems Services and Human Well Being Programme. He is also a Carson Fellow (2012-13) at Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society, Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich, Germany. Since 2007, he has been teaching core courses in sociology and qualitative research methods and elective courses in environmental sociology to PhD scholars at ATREE. His research interests are in environmental sociology, environmental history and historical sociology.
